I have a question about my scenario, but wanted to make sure you’re still following this before I spend time spilling it all. 🙂 If so, let me know and I will post my question to you!

My ex broke up with me 6 weeks ago. He said he was unhappy in life and we’ve been fighting a lot. He contacted me 2 nights after he broke up with me and said he was concerned about me and wanted to see how I was doing. We both laughed and cried and he said he wanted to be friends. He said he can’t be in a relationship anymore because he needs to focus on himself and be selfish at this point in his life. He reached out to me again 2 weeks later and told me he hopes I have the best time of my life on vacation. 2 weeks later I asked if we could talk to clarify what happened between us and he said the same thing. That he doesn’t want to be in a relationship right now with me or anyone else. I basically begged him back and asked if this is something we can work out or start off slow again and see where things go. He said he thought about that but didn’t think it would work. He came over and got his things 3 days after. It’s been about a week and 1/2 since I saw him when he got his things. Is there still a chance? I love him so much.

I don’t think you need to redo the “no contact” rule. Since you’ve only recently reconnected, then don’t expect your ex to warm up easily. Getting an ex back is a process. Look out for the signs that your ex has moved on, though: Is Your Ex Moving On? (How To Tell) But evaluate things, too. Are you sure you’re not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It’s time to re-assess those and see what’s working versus what’s not working. Sometimes, getting an ex back is like trying to fit a square into a circle, but oftentimes, chances are you’re letting emotion dictate you and therefore end up making the wrong choices. Have you checked out my guide yet? It’s ultimately up to you to act (or not act, depending on which phase you’re in) on getting your ex back, but it helps if you read it to know that you’re on the right track.

My ex broke up with me approximately 5 moths ago, after a year and a half realtionship. Needless to say that I was heartbroken. We are both quite young (21 and 22), he is finishing his university degree, and I am 1 year away from finishing it.
Here is my problem: I have done the no contact rule, for about 3 weeks, and he did reach out to me. We now talk quite often, and we have met up twice. The two times we saw eachother we had a lot of fun, yet he always mentioned that he was done with love (I am the only relationship he has ever had, he’s always been afraid to get hurt), that he felt too unstable to care about someone again.
My problem is now that we do have an amazing bond when we see eachother (he does not like communicating a lot via messages), yet I feel as though he has lost all hope. What can I do to make him change his mind? Should I implement no contact a second time?

Thank you,

Greetings from Belgium!

– Alice

Sorry to hear that. How old is he, though? The bottom line is if your ex is in the right age to make his own decisions that’s independent from their parents, then there may still be a chance. Otherwise, it’s best to consider moving on from this, okay? I’m not quite sure why parents had to get involved in the first place. But understand that the choice is ultimately up to your ex on whether to fight for you or not despite the opposition going on. Good luck!

What is in your “secret” IG account? If you’ve been caught flirting, that will surely rile her up. Employ the tips here first: How To Get Your Ex Back After Cheating (And Get Them To Forgive You) I’m sorry, I could be way off… but there’s lots of missing pieces here for me to deduct anything, so consider signing up for my coaching program instead so I can look into your situation more clearly and figure out what’s going on, then guide you on a regular basis.

I’ve broke up with my ex 3 months ago. His parent and family did not want us to be together because i have 2 kids from 2 different men. My first husband died already left me with our daughter. My second marriage the man gave me child and left to get married to another lady. So i was hoping and believe that the person/man that we’ve stayed together promised me to start a new life and family with me so we both agreed to be together. When his parent and family came in to our lives, everything just ruined and messed up. My ex dont have kids as yet so they disagreed. The love that we have for each other was so strong until today. He was brain washed with kinds of negative talks from his families so he came up with decision for us to seperated/breakup so he can move on with someone else. I was beging not to do that but it didnt work out the way i want. He said his parent’s decision is for his own good for a better future. It was very painful and was really an heart breaking for me. I never treat him bad, i always provide everything for the house, pay for power bills and what he wants i have to meet the costs and give the best i can give to him to shows how much love that i have for him. I love him so much no one apart from him to be honest with my feelings. I really need your guideline how to get him back to me. Is there any ways to help me.

This is out 2nd break up and the last time we broke I initiated no contact and we both went 3 weeks before I caved and stopped by at her apartwhere where we got back together. However this time feels different, the relationship get controlling where was always paranoid who I was with and told me I wasn’t allowed to hang out with certain females. She’s 29 and a business professional and I’m 32 and go to school and work for UPS. Should I do no contact again? It’s been 5 days and we haven’t talked. My sister is BF’s with her and she told me to leave a voicemailon her phone 3 days ago which I did and I haven’t heard anything back since. I don’t call, I don’t text. What advice would you give? She was ready to settle down after a year of dating and loved me very much. Thanks for the help!

PS I was thinking of dropping off EVERYTHING she’s ever given me on her doorstep is that a good idea?

AJ, here’s a quick overview: Get Your Ex Back Fast Lots of folks seem to be oblivious about it, so here goes: the 30-day “no contact” rule, once COMPLETED, is just the first phase for most people (unless your ex sincerely wanted you back and it’s shown in their actions). There are two more phases to go through if you want an ex back, and the third is to rekindle/rebuild the attraction with an ex. Learn the basics here: How To Get Your Ex Back (Step-By-Step Guide To Reversing A Breakup) Good luck!

I broke up with my partner of 13 years 9 months ago. Didn’t end well, time and space and wouldn’t explain it. I walked away and blocked her for a month. She then contacted me and was really rude so I cut her off again for another month, same thing happened so I continued. I ended out ghosting it out of the country and vanishing off the radar for abit. It has now been nearly 6 months since we have last talked, purely to me being out of contact plus number was cancelled. Not sure what to do at present or if its even worth it now.

Any help would be great.

AJ
