But any advice on getting a long distance relationship back on track. Due to life circumstances me and my ex have actually managed a remarkable 6 year long long distance relationship as we got back together after I moved to another country in 2015. This is the 5 time she broke up with me. I’ve broke up with her once and the next day she came crying to take her back and she has taken me back all the other times as well but this time my actions to share my thoughts on Facebook as I’ve decided to be open about my bipolar became to much for her. She got concerned about my rationality. I’m off all meds now which actually was the reason for my mental state. A mouth full but thx for any reply much appreciated.

My wife asked me to leave after several years of constant alcohol drinking to self-medicate to handle my anxiety issues. I have had ADHD all my life, but didn’t know and was not diagnosed until 2 years ago (then aged 56). I am currently living alone, and want my wife and 3 adult sons back. I have ceased drinking after finally realising the damage it has done to my family. I know rebuilding trust takes time, but how do I get my ex to trust me again, and how do I get her to believe I have fully committed to sobriety?
