Hi Brad,
I am seeing all these four signs in my relationship . He said we need to take things slow after being together 6months. He is still texting me everyday but I have chosen to ignore them or I would just reply to his texts hours later and even then i would just reply without asking him back how his day was if he asked me . So should I continue doing this or should I just completely cut off all communication. He still reaches out to my daughter at times but he has stopped investing in our relationship so I thought it would be better to just leave him !!!! He did send me another text recently because I ignored his good morning text and quotes he has stopped sending them the 3rd day. “Why r you doing this..maybe there is no future for us ” I’m so confused . Please help

In reply to judy calvert. The problem lies within him with his inability to be "tied down" which manifested in his numerous failed relationships/marriages. I'm afraid you can't change his mind on this. He has to be the one to decide to want to change his goals in life.

My ex treated me like his princess, even called me that. chased me over 5 counties while I was working. Said he loved me the first time he saw me 50 years ago when we were in 7th grade. He said he had never loved anyone but me. He had been married, first wife divorced him, he married a high school girlfriend, divorced her, remarried his first wife because of his children with her. He found me, after 50 yrs. Was extremely jealous of me at first, relationship lasted 3.5 yrs. He decided he did not want to be “tied down”. He broke up with me because I did not want him to take a fishing trip when I was off work for a week. I wanted to spend time with him. He used his church and religion as an excuse for ending our relationship. He was seeing this other woman at church. I have no idea how he feels about me. I just do not understand how you could love someone for 50 years, and then get over it that quickly. He had begged me to marry him at first. I was not legally divorced at the time and he knew it. When I was in process of the final divorce, he broke up with me. So where do I go from here?
I made all the mistakes you mentioned, Begging, pleading, crying, I even thought about just ending my life it hurt so bad. He became more and more cruel. Would ask if I were seeing someone and he would always have feelings for me. So why the other woman?

Hii brad my ex boyfriend and i were togethet. for 20 years then broke up and for. the last 12 years been best friends helped me raise my 4 kids best friends with my 31 year old son but something happened where 25 dollars in quarters went missing from his parents house were he has been living for last couple years now he will not talk to me or my son but does stay in touch with my 2 oldest grandchilren Brad is he coming back to me he has never not talked to me before. its been about a month since any type of communication please help me. My situation is the usual one. He is my SSI payee and he works 35+ hours. so contact is necessary in order to change payees. I haven’t begged for him back per se. We fought almost daily for 3.5 years of our relationship. It’s only been 6 days. He started he hates me. Then says I don’t hate you I hate this you. Yesterday I have received messages stating that he loves the good parts in me but he can’t handle “this” anymore. I have MH Issues. Today FB friend deletion. I only realized because he was the first person shown on my friend’s list. I’m still able to message on FB though. So confused right now.

What did you do? Make sure you aren’t being defensive or deflecting the blame because that’s as annoying as ever.
