I’ve always struggled with certain things when it comes to my marriage, but I’m sure that something like this can be worked out with a little help. Since it’s not as bad of a situation as other people’s, I’ll get some help from a marriage counselor since they’ve seen it before.

My wife and I love each other a lot for sure, but we’ve only recently gotten married and are now running into what I assume are the usual problems of a married couple. I’ll take this as an opportunity to work things out with a marriage counseling expert in the area.

]]> By: Dee https://www.lovelearnings.com/marriage/does-marriage-counseling-work#comment-10570 Wed, 16 Sep 2020 08:17:14 +0000 https://www.lovelearnings.com/?p=12326#comment-10570 I feel let down my husband of 23yrs i found out last Yr was in contact with another woman who he defended to the last meaning he was in contact over 400 texts and about 600 phonecalls over 3 days and he told me they were just friends this woman i have since found out is a woman known for breaking up marriages 2 previous marriages to her name she used to be an acquaintance of mine he couldn’t stand her would never speak to her would always get me to do the talking when she called then it all changed he couldn’t get enough of her he was on phone to her from 6 in morning all day til maybe 1 or 2 in morning while he was at work and then at home via texts when I confronted him he denied it but I saw the phone records he promised me there would be no more contact but again I got his phone records and there it was again then again confronted him he told me it was only me he loved wanted our family but I asked if so why are you doing this we have had terrible arguments then got back a little of our relationship that we once had but I knew something was not right so I decided to record him when my son and I left the house and I was right again he rand her and I actually physically got sick it was all about me I was referred to as her and she and he and her spoke about my family which was horrible I again confronted him he tried to tell me the phone call was not like I took it up which I said how else can I take it up it took a long time but I did decide to give it another go but we had a lot of work to do and I didn’t think it would ever be the same again between us as I don’t trust you or believe a word you say then again I decided to record him again and there it was again 2 more phone calls to her while I was looking after my mother who was just out of hospital and it was all about me and my family they were saying about me at one stage he said he wanted to be in bed before I came home and she replied you would never know she may stay at her mother’s tonight he replied I’d never be that lucky and he is the very one who was texting me asking when I was getting home I had gone to her house to confront her for what she had said about me and my family and he told her as I said I was going to my solicitor regarding both of them he rang her to tell her what I was doing and he told her what she needed to do if she got a solicitors letter from me and it again it was disgusting again I confronted him and he tried to explain I again told him that I was done I wanted him out he cried I tore up our wedding photo album as I said it was a farce and I should never have gone through with it he text her telling her no more contact to delete his number that his family was more important and that his marriage was almost over because of everything she replied with not just ok but a list of things came with her reply now he has said that he is not in contact with him but now I am recording him but he is suspicious and I think he is still in contact with her by text through an app called duo which doesn’t show on phone records I really don’t know what to do I don’t trust him I don’t believe him any advice please

Seven months after we were married. We had dated 3 yrs before we decided to get married. Everything was so perfect, and the passion was always so strong. Even the day he left!
So much so, that I thought he had changed his mind about leaving.
