1. The Picture

Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Pick guys that have pictures of themselves with friends and family. Guys that have the loner pictures are probably loners. Unless you’re into that thing, of course.

Guys with topless pictures while somewhat alluring are probably narcissistic –especially guys that take grainy pictures of themselves from crappy cell phones.

2. The Profile

Take what men say in their profiles with a grain of salt. They’re all trying to show off. But here are a few tips to help you get the genuine ones.

If they type like a 5 year old, then chances are, you’re going to get a 5-year-old brained guy. Spelling and grammar are important here. You want a guy who is intelligent enough to keep you interested, right?

Secondly, you’ll want to pick a guy who you know has his life together. So if he doesn’t mention his job, he probably doesn’t have one.

3. The Message Back

You can tell a lot about a guy just by how he chooses to communicate with you.

Make sure he’s read your profile. That shows he actually cares about meeting up with you. Again, spelling and grammar are important. And finally, if he interests you, call him first. It’s easy to type a bunch of words on a keyboard, but having a real conversation with someone is much more difficult. You don’t have the luxury of time to come up with a good response.

I don’t like talking on the phone much, but I can tell if I’ll have chemistry by talking to them on the phone.
